One person dead after apparent domestic dispute One person is dead and another is in the hospital after an apparent domestic dispute in Roane County. Deputies were called to the home on Buttermilk Road, just east of Kingston. At least three people were there when the stabbing happened, a woman and two men. A man who appears to be in his twenties was found dead with several stab wounds, and another woman is said to be in the hospital. No further details have yet been released. UPDATE: One man is dead and another in custody after apparent domestic dispute A domestic dispute ended with one man dead, one in custody and a woman in the hospital today. It was a series of crimes that spanned several East Tennessee counties. It started in Roane County. Deputies were called to a home east of Kingston to find 22-year-old David Midkiff stabbed several times. Deputies say Apollo Nichols and his girlfriend, Lina Trujillo, then left the scene and went to Anderson County. Deputies believe Nichols stabbed Trujillo and ran over her leg with his car at his family's home in Claxton. She was transported to UT Medical Center and is in stable condition. Nichols was later arrested at Peninsula Hospital in Blount County and is now being questioned. No charges have yet been filed.
