5 Sexually Violated at Scioto Summer Camp Ohio
When a volunteer disappeared from sight a camp director became alarmed. It was not just that he was missing that brought concern. But that a child also went missing. Timothy Keil is a proffesor and a father of 6 children. But as of yesterday he found himself and his family in a world of frenzy from news media in Perry County. Keil was found in a sexual position with the child in a bunk house. The Director said no back ground check was performed due to his high recommendations. However there was no records to be found when Keil was checked through Lancasters Christian Church Association. So even if one had been completed there still would have been no evidence to base anything on. Keil targeted grades one through 3 at the camp. And at least 5 children have been violated. One 9 year old childs mother stated,'My child said Keil wanted him to stay behind with him rather than go for snacks, thank God he did not." and stated this for the record as well,"He said that Tim Keil was a little too touchy with the children and made him un- comfortable." She says her child will never attend another camp ever again. Keil currently is sitting in the Nelsonville Jail this week-end and is due for arraignment on Monday. CASOO is hoping for a 1 million dollar bond.

Keil Case To Go Before Grand Jury Jul 26 2007 7:07PM NEW LEXINGTON, Ohio - Timmy Keil, the man accused of inappropriately touching boys at a church camp, listened in court Thursday while a camp counselor testified about allegedly finding him inside a bunk with a young camper. The counselor was the only witness called to testify during the hearing, 10TV's Tanisha Mallett reported. Perry County Sheriff's detectives charged Keil (pictured, right) with three counts of gross sexual imposition after eight boys told police he touched them inappropriately while attending Scioto Youth Church Camp, 10TV News reported. Keil denied the accusations during an interview with 10TV News. On Thursday, camp counselor John Gornall told the court he walked in the cabin and found a boy lying on top of Keil. "I walked in the cabin and that's when I saw the defendant lying on his back, with the child on his chest, stomach to stomach, with his shirt up, pants down, caressing his back and buttocks area," Gornall said. After the testimony, the judge ruled that there was probable cause for one count of gross sexual imposition, Mallett reported. Keil will remain in custody until the case goes before a grand jury next week. http://10tv.com/?sec=home&story=sites/10tv/content/pool/200707/30951267.html
