A Mother Love
As years pass for me,
Time does not change
your face,
And although time has
moved on with me, it is
the love that has stood
all test,
On birthdays I decorated
the court square with ribbons,
it was my way of saying come
home safe to me,
When that failed I trodded onto
new grounds with an ordinance,
And have set forth the change
that needs to be,
A mothers love holds strong for
you three, and with the ties that
bind I know, you I have never failed
or yours to be when protecting
thee.
Written for Daniel David, Everett Earl
Donald Leroy Wilson, Ricky Lee Wilson,
my beloved three who are missing from me.
