Corrections Seeks Minn. Fugitive Sex Offender Last Edited: Thursday, 10 Jul 2008, 3:23 PM CDT Created: Thursday, 10 Jul 2008, 3:23 PM CDT MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Department of Corrections is seeking 25-year-old Christopher Don Boswell, a level 3 sex offender who was placed on Intensive Supervised Release when he was released. He is on fugitive status as of July 2 when he absconded from supervision. Boswell was convicted in Hennepin County in 2000 for three counts of first degree criminal sexual conduct and two counts of kidnapping. His offenses involved an adult female stranger and an adult female acquaintance. Both victims sustained injuries in the offenses. Boswell was released from the Minnesota Correctional Facility in Rush City in May and placed on Intensive supervised release. He has not been seen by his supervisor since July 2. Boswell is considered very dangerous and should not be confronted. He is known to frequent N. Minneapolis and use guns and threats of physical force or death to gain victim compliance. Boswell is listed at 5'5" and 162 pounds. He has multiple upper body tattoos on his chest, arms, neck, back and behind his right ear. He may also have a gold front tooth.
