October 8th, 2009 Amber Alert Issued on Behalf of Williamsport PD WILLIAMSPORT - The Pennsylvania State Police has issued an Amber Child Abduction Alert on behalf of the Williamsport Police Department in Lycoming County. The Williamsport Police Department is searching for A’dryn Allen Drummond, a black male child who is one and a half years old, stands two and a half feet tall and weighs 29 pounds, has short black hair and brown eyes. The child was last seen wearing blue jeans, a horizontal striped navy blue and light blue shirt and a grey hooded sweatshirt with dark blue stripes on the sleeves. The child was reportedly taken by his father Johnnie Alexander Drummond III, a twenty-seven year old black male, 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds with short black hair and brown eyes. The father was wearing black sneakers, dark blue jeans, and a black shiny winter jacket with an orange interior lining. The father and child were last seen in a black Mercury Mariner sedan bearing Pennsylvania registration FPM3019, heading eastbound on state Route 973 in Hepburn Township, Lycoming County. The abductor is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about the abduction should immediately contact the police by calling 911. The suspect is considered armed and dangerous. A'dryn Allen Drummond an 18 month old Black male, 2' 6" tall weighing 29 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans a horizontal striped navy blue and light blue shirt and grey hooded sweatshirt with dark blue stripes on the sleeves. The suspect is Johnnie Alexander Drummond III, a 27 year old Black male, 5' 8" weighong 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing black sneakers, dark blue jeans and a black shiny winter jacket with an orange interior lining. The suspect vehicle is a black Mercury Mariner with Pennsylvania tag number FPM3019. Missing central Pa. toddler found; father arrested The Associated Press Updated: 10/09/2009 03:40:27 PM EDT WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.—The man accused of kidnapping his 18-month-old son from his north-central Pennsylvania home is in custody and the boy is safe. Williamsport Police Capt. Glenn Ardrey says 27-year-old Johnnie Alexander Drummond was arrested Friday morning and 18-month-old A'dryn Allen Drummond was returned to his mother. Police say Drummond assaulted his girlfriend at her home Thursday morning and then fled with the boy. He is a convicted drug offender who was already wanted for escaping from a Berks County halfway house in August. Drummond was awaiting arraignment Friday afternoon.
