AMBER Alert Program Retracts February 17, 2006 Press Release Announcing Severance of Ties with Granger Whitelaw and Blue Car Partners Monday March 27, 3:36 pm ET PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 27, 2006--The AMBER Alert Portal (www.amberalert.com), a public/private partnership deploying a state-by-state alerting system that links law enforcement and citizens in the common goal to rescue abducted children, today retracted a press release dated February 17, 2006, which announced the severance of ties with Granger Whitelaw and Blue Car Partners. "The press release announcing the severance of ties with Mr. Whitelaw is hereby retracted by the AMBER Alert Portal," said Mark Roberts, an Examiner appointed by the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Arizona to manage Engaging & Empowering Citizenship, Inc. ("E2C"), the company that runs the AmberAlert.com web portal. The management responsible for issuing the February 17 press release was relieved of its management authority over E2C and AMBER Alert on February 22, 2006 and was terminated and replaced with new professional management on March 16, 2006.
