Baby Abandoned, Parents Sought, Orange County, FL
Search Continues For Parents Of Abandoned Baby POSTED: 7:31 am EST January 12, 2007 UPDATED: 7:32 am EST January 12, 2007 Sheriff's deputies in Orange County, Fla., are continuing a search for the parents of a baby who was found practically on their doorstep this week. Deputies found the baby locked inside a car parked in a lot outside of the Orange County Jail's visitation center. The baby is now in state custody. Firefighters said the situation was avoidable and are reminding parents who may be thinking about leaving their child that there are places to turn to and they would not be punished.
