Bethany Broseus killer John Cline pleads guilty
The courtroom was full of solace this week
when filled with family who only wanted to
have her killer answer why to the crime.
John Cline,26, resident of Newark Sheriff
Department now, sat emotionless while a
trial of sorts against him took place.
He offered no answers as to how or why
he took and strangled Bethany to death,
while savagely beating her head in during
as Prosecutor Oswalt described a hainous
issue rape taking place that ended her 15
year old life.
He sat emotionless through four of Bethanys
family members describing the actions they
have forever been left with her loss of life.
His attorneys this week sat and made comments
for Mr. Cline siting that he did not speak for fear
fear of saying something wrongly to her family.
What he failed to realize was that Bethany's family
had already suffered more than he could imagine
when statements were made that he plead guilty to
spare her family of a trial.
Her uncle a lawyer from Cincinnati area spoke of
him being a worhtless vermit and asked Judge Jon
Spar to spare others and give him life without parole
rather than a possibility. Also saying that John Cline
only took a plea agreement because he told those
investigating that another person was also involved
with Bethanys death and if so who was it he asked.
Her father Jerry (God bless and comfort him) took
the stand and read from his written tear stained paper
of what he will forever endure placing because of you
John Cline I will never hold my grandchildren, see her
walk to take her wedding vows, or graduate. Because
of you John Cline I can not make things that are wrong
better like I used to when she was a little girl with a cut
on her knee. Because of you John Cline I live with night
mares of how it must have been for my little girl John Cline
when you took her life from her. Because of you John Cline
our lives will forever be at a loss and nothing can fix it.
John Clines lawyer sited he was not offering an excuse
when speaking for his client offering had John not been
drinking and abusing drugs that day he could not help
but think John Cline would not have done such a brutal
act towards another human being. He also sited that he
knew his client would not want excuses made for him in
this instance by his representation either (yet that is what
the impression was once spoken).
As charges were read from the 1st to the 5th and final
charge of how or what happened everyone fell apart
including us. The death sentence wiped off the table for
a man who thought nothing of killing innocence.
A father spared yet left with no real answers as to how his
child could have been so savagely brutally murdered by
this monster when all she did was laugh alot and love life
in itself will forever feel this man can never harm another
child like this again.
A family devestated and left with just her infamous tender
heart and magnificant love for others will now begin to try
and move forward from this loss of life.
And John Cline will forever be left etched in their minds as
to why Bethany can never go onward or enjoy what others
may be left with in this world called life.
He will be in prsion for life without possiblity of parole on
murder charges that dropped the deaht sentence.
Should he ever be released Mr. Cline will register as a Tier 3
Sex Offender for the rest of his life.
And this group has promised Jery and her family we will
always for Bethany ROAR should Cline come up for Parole.
May you rest in peace now Bethany he no longer reigns to
roam the streets any longer with a possiblity of harming yet
another!
