Body Discovered KOTV - 5/23/2007 5:37 PM - Updated 5/23/2007 9:34 PM A body has been discovered in rural Osage County, now investigators are trying to identify the body. Deputies believe it’s a woman, but say it has been exposed to the elements for quite sometime, possibly up to 60 days. Officials have been using cadaver dogs to search the area and plan to continue searching for the next couple days. Skeletal Remains Discovered In Southeastern Osage County Thursday May 24, 2007 11:53am Posted By: Kevin King Sperry - Osage County officials are trying to identify skeletal remains discovered between Tulsa and Sperry. Some of the remains were found Sunday in a heavily wooded area. Others were discovered at another location Wednesday. The bones appear to be that of an adult, but the gender could not be determined. The bones are being sent to the medical examiner's office to determine the cause of death and to try and identify them.
