C.A.S.O.O. holds vigil D.C. Music Festival July 17- 19 2009
C.A.S.O.O. will for a second year hold a candle vigil in Washington D.C.
The group attended the 2008 D.C. Family Preservation Rally where the founder spoke for childrens lives lost while in the care of Child Protective Services.
This year the founder will name with faces on bill boards of children from every state while candles burn bright on Capitol Hill and at Senate Park.
By doing this L. Wilson hopes to keep the voices of these children silenced at a ROAR instead of never being heard about. If you have a child who has been violated and lost due to another she will place their name in the open and express they were not in the care of Child Protective Services as well.
She continues to voice for lives lost like Marcus Fiesel to bring awareness that 6.4% of children placed into the custody of Child Protective Services per 100,000 suffer from sexual, physical, maltreatment, and under education. While only 1.5% who remain within their bloodlines or familiy unit suffer these crimes per 100,000.
