Man Involved in False Amber Alert Case Indicted by a Grand Jury

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - The 22-year-old man who triggered a state-wide Amber Alert when he ran away with a 16-year-old Geneva girl has been indicted on several charges including third degree rape.
Connor Izard of Henry Clay Boulevard has been indicted by an Onondaga County Grand Jury on charges of third degree rape, endangering the welfare of a child, and performing a criminal sexual act in the third degree.
On December 1st, 2005, 16-year-old Patricia Lynn Visco went missing around 6 PM. She was found early the next day in a hotel in Salina with Izard. An Amber Alert was issued after Visco went missing.
Visco has already pleaded guilty to falsely reporting an incident in the case.
Geneva (WSYR-TV) - 16-year-old Patricia Lynn Visco pleaded guilty this morning in Geneva City Court to falsely reporting an incident. Visco’s disappearance triggered a state-wide amber alert last month.
Visco went missing around 6 PM on December 1st. She was found early the next day at a hotel in the town of Salina with 22-year-old Connor Izard. Visco says she had met Izzard on the internet.
The judge in the case says the prosecution has agreed not to seek punitive damages, just a sentence of probation.

The 16-year-old from Geneva who set off the state Amber Alert system when she disappeared has been charged with falsely reporting an incident.
Police say she was never abducted. She simply ran away with 22-year-old Connor Izard of Clay on December 1st.
Her parents originally reported her missing when they returned home and found their house in disarray.
The 16-year-old and Izard were found at a Liverpool motel hours later. They had planned to go to New York City.

A Geneva girl who went missing Thursday afternoon was found early Friday morning in Liverpool. Now, a 22-year-old Clay man is charged with her disappearance.
State Police tell NewsChannel 9 that Connor Izzard of Clay, 22, is under arrest for a number of charges including a felony charge of rape, criminal sexual acts in the third degree and endangering the welfare of a child.
Izzard was arraigned in the Town of Salina Court at about 7:30 Friday morning. He is being held on $50,000 bail.
According to State Police Investigator Timothy Siddell, Izzard and the 16-year-old girl, of Geneva, had met on the internet. The two had been conversing online for a month before they decided to meet up. They went to the Knight's Inn in Liverpool, with plans to leave for New York City today, and "points unknown" after that, according to Siddell.
