well i have been looking at thedoenetwork and have found (what i believe) to be is a positive match on a body of a teenage girl found near the oregon-californian border 1 year after she went missing. i will keep you updated :D

Thanks, do you have a link to that person. Extra eyes never hurt :)

here it goes. i know it's a long shot but there are some similarities to her case http://www.doenetwork.us/cases/404ufor.html the similarities: Debra: Height and Weight at Time of Disappearance: 5'6"; 125 lbs. (57 kg.) Distinguishing Characteristics: White female. Brown hair; brown eyes. Missing since June 5, 1971 there's not much to go on her case because very little details are available jane Doe: Height and Weight: 5'4" - 5'5"; 125 lbs (only 5 inches off being debra's height allthough this is only a guess) and right on the mark with the weight. Distinguishing Characteristics: Brown hair with blonde streaks (if you look at Debra's hair very closely you can see natural blonde streaks running through her brown hair) even you even look at the picture of the jane doe she has brown eyes Estimated Date of Death: July 1, 1971 (remembering that this is only an estimate this date is only 26 days after Debra went missing) The victim was located in a wooded area near the Oregon-California border sure Debra did not live near there (although she lived near a border in California) but there have been many child abduction cases where they are taken to another state far, far away from where they originally came from. The victim was discovered on August 19, 1971 this is only 2 months after Debra went missing this jane doe was found. there was only skeletal remains left to work with.

I looked at both side by side. While weight is similar ,age is a big factor. Yes they are estimated but rib cage showed the jane doe as older than a 12 yr old. I think this one is very slim to be her. Sorry.

that's o.k, i've contacted the doenetwork but still have NO information from them to make the connection yet :?

Themis Eternal- 07-19-2006

Give them time. They may be compairing them or talking to LE about a possible match. They work very hard but always answer :) Since you do search the Doe network a lot I need your help. Tammy Leppert's sister is a member here and is asking that if anyone comes across a possible match for her sister to let her know. She is listed in the 1980's section. We thought at one point we might have had one but it didn't pan out. If you can do this let me know. And thank you for careing so much for the missing. Everything helps.

that's o.k your welcome :D the only trouble with going through the doenetwork is it is soo time comsuming! the thing that bugs me about this case is i want to know what she was wearing etc on the day she went missing. sure i'll look to see if i can find a match and if i do then il post it on her thread!
