Dog Turns on Stove and Starts Fire in Apartment, Twice
Dog starts fire in Vancouver apartment -- twice 11:30 AM PDT on Friday, October 27, 2006 Associated Press VANCOUVER, Wash. -- A Doberman pinscher named Victoria has set two fires this year in Vancouver -- in the same apartment and in the same way -- by jumping up on an electric stove and turning on a burner. The fire department says the first fire in March didn't cause much damage. But, the second fire Wednesday night caused about $100,000 damage to the apartment and property belonging to the owner Caroline Wheeler. She was not home at the time.
