Niagara Falls, NY, September 10, 2006) - - Police in Niagara Falls believe domestic violence reached a boiling point, and turned into a deadly double shooting. Two women were shot inside a home on Ninth Street Friday morning.
25 year old Lanerra Streeter died at the scene. 24 year old Nicole Nabors remains in critical condition at ECMC.
Detectives say four children under the age of ten were inside the home at the time of the shooting, but they were not hurt.
Police say there is a history of problems at this address. Det. Capt Ernest Palmer of the Niagara Falls Police: "There was a history of domestic violence between the deceased's ex boyfriend and her we have not been able to locate him."
Police are looking to question the victim's boyfriend, Javon Ridgeway. Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at 286-4711 .
