Police are asking for help finding a man who failed to appear in court to answer charges that he sexually abused two young sisters.
Elias Salomon Beltran, 44, is charged with two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child. Prosecutors say he lured two sisters, ages 3 and 5, by telling them he wanted to play a game with them.
Authorities say Beltran threatened to kill the older girl if she told anyone about the abuse, but the girl informed an adult who alerted police.
Beltran was charged and released on bond. He failed to appear for his Wednesday court date and remains at large.
Beltran has been known to drive a yellow Volkswagen Beetle with license plate JBC-530. His last known address was in the 3700 block of Ella.
Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to Beltran's arrest.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477. All callers remain anonymous.
