Email Example for House Bill 191 <Insert Title and Name>, I am writing to you in reference to House Bill 191 To amend section 2950.99 of the Revised Code to make a violation of the prohibition under the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Law against certain offenders residing within 1,000 feet of any school premises a felony of the fifth degree. This Bill is being primarily sponsored by Representative DeGeeter, and co-sponsored by Representatives Hartnett, Beatty, Cassell, Distel, Strahorn, Perry, Martin, Trakas, Koziura, Brown, Reidelbach, Schaffer, Taylor, Allen, Webster and Flowers. Present legislation does not allow our Law Enforcement Officials to properly protect our children. Our children are our worlds greatest resource and need to be protected at all costs. As a member of The From Whispers to Roars .org Team, I am writing to ask you to please support this Bill. On our team, we have banded together all across the country to fight for the rights of all children so parents will not have to worry about the safety of thier children in the school yards and classrooms and playgrounds. As you may recall, Jessica Marie Lunsford of Florida was abducted, raped and murdered in 2005 by a registered sex offender who had access to her school. This cannot be allowed to continue.
