Every six minutes a child in America is being sexually abused.
In 2005, there were 4 million children between the ages of 11 and 17 of the 25 million in that age group who were solicited by a predator for sex online.
For this reason, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children developed NETSMARTZ. The Netsmartz Program is interactive and age appropriate (for children between the ages of 4-17), with parent, teacher, law enforcement and child components.
The Tavern on the Green will fund educational programs like Netsmartz to prevent child online entrapment.
It is for this reason the NCMEC is asking you to consider giving Tavern on the Green gift boxes this holiday season.
They are all natural products and a portion of the proceeds benefits a great cause⦠supporting the education & safety of our children!
You can buy them at Wegmans or by clicking here.
