The Wickenburg Police Department is releasing the following information pursuant to ARS 13-3825, the Community Notification on Sex Offenders Law.
It is the responsibility of the chief law enforcement officer having jurisdiction where the offender resides to make notification to the community. Notification must be made when certain sex offenders are released from the Arizona Department of Corrections, released from the county jail or who relocate from another city or state.
Gordon Albert Chalue has been convicted of a sex offense which allows for community notification. He is not wanted by the police at this time.
This notification is not intended to increase fear, rather it is the police department’s belief that an informed community is a safer community. Citizen abuse of this information to threaten, intimidate, or harass sex offenders will not be tolerated. Further, such abuse could potentially end law enforcement’s ability to complete community notifications.
The offender in this notification is Gordon Albert Chalue. He is a white male, 71 years old and is five feet 10 inches and weights 150 pounds. He has white hair and brown eyes His reported address is 1695 Mountain View Road in Wickenburg.
