TBI seeks clues in Greenbriar Homicide
Greenbriar, TN- The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is searching for clues in a weekend homicide that occurred in Greenbriar, Tennessee.
Motorists who were traveling on Highway 41 Friday night say they saw Miguel Francisco’s body struck by a vehicle at around 9:00 p.m. Witnesses also describe one of the vehicles in that area as a red SUV, possibly a Jeep Cherokee. It’s not clear what role, if any, those two vehicles may have played in the actual homicide, however one or both may have been damaged during the incident. When police arrived on the scene, they found the victim’s body handcuffed and bound.
At this time, TBI agents are trying to determine exactly where the victim had been living at the time of his death and who he may have had contact with in the weeks leading up to his death. Investigators believe at one time Francisco may have lived in Knoxville and Philadelphia. He is a 25 year-old citizen of the Dominican Republic.
Anyone with information is encouraged to call the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
