Helping others to help another
A second time has come for helping another. We have now named this project of ours that is under way Project: Give. Each year we give garden items to Christ Table where others less fortunate will eat. Our gardens over flow each year and we see the need for others survival to be met in the winter months. As we grow in communities we only want the positives to take place. We see enough negatives that a positive is good every now and then. Next year our hope is to grow a community garden for children of the community to take advantage of. We have recruited community service workers this year in our gardens. As the courts order them to work off what is owed in fines. Those who can not pay get to learn as they work in areas such as canning, pre- paring for canning, and picking in them. We think it will work out great for our first time of using court ordered workers. It is cost efficient and productive for the communities we serve in. And thats what we all need some more of UNITY.
