Ok I was asked what I had send so here it is including title:
Title: Sergeant Greg Jones Michigan's Missing Children Information Clearinghouse and Information on Jessita Hagan
Body: We have been going round and round with Michigan over a possible active Missing Child from our Amber/Missing Alerts Section, Jessita Hagan.
We emailed the Detroit Police Department first. Turned out the email addresses from the City Web Site were fake. So we went to the Michigan State Police who sent our email to the Coordinator for Michigan States Missing Childrens Clearinghouse.
Please read all the way through you may be alittle angered and entertained.
Let's start with Sgt Greg Jone's reply to our email requesting information:

Dear Sgt. Jones,
Thank you for responding to my email from November 16, 2005. I do have a few more question. You said 'According to Michigan's Law Enforcement Information Network, Jessita Hagan is not listed as missing.' I was wonder if she was ever listed. The reason I ask is there was only one article on her in Detroit and nothing since. The article is as follows:
Police, Family Search For Missing Detroit Teen
Girl Last Seen Thursday At Bus Stop
POSTED: 8:46 am EST November 7, 2005
A Detroit family and police are searching for a missing 14-year-old girl.
Jessita Hagan was last seen Thursday morning after she was dropped off at a bus stop on Grand River Avenue and Greenfield, according to police. Hagan did not arrive for school and did not return home, police said.
Hagan (pictured, right) was last seen wearing a black jacket, yellow uniform, plaid uniform skirt and had braided hair, according to police.
Police and the girl's parents are investigating the possibility that she may be with a girlfriend, Local 4 learned.
Anyone with information should contact Detroit police.

Was Jessita found or returned home on her own. Before we remove a child from our board we like to confirm that that are no longer missing. By this i mean posting a resolution no matter what the outcome.
My other question is since you are the coordinate Michigan's Missing Children Information Clearinghouse is there a public web link to this area. This way we can list Michigan's Missing/Recovered without having to bother you for information. Thank you for your time Sgt Jones and for responding to my first email.

Hello and thank you for your inquiry. If Detroit Police took a valid
missing person complaint, they could supply you that information to you
through a freedom of information request.
Contact the department and ask for a copy of their form to make the
request.

Well, Sir, not to be redundant, but we HAVE tried to contact the Detrroit Police Department. The only contact email thru thier site
http://www.ci.detroit.mi.us/police/dept/contact_us.htm is
dpdcp@dpdhq.ci.detroit.mi.us and everytime we email them, we get an undeliverable message in return.
Excuse me for saying this but its seems rediculous that The Chief of Police for a major city in the US cant keep an email address current enough for her constituents to use. If you have any other suggestions, or even an alternate email address for us to try, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you again for your patience.

Greetings Again Sgt Jones,
I really hate bothering you but i do have just a few more questions and I was wondering if you could actually answer them. First you said and I quote 'According to Michigan's Law Enforcement Information Network, Jessita Hagan is not listed as missing.' As the Coordinator for Michigan's Missing Children Information Clearinghouse does that report not have to come to you? Especially since you handle the States Missing Children.
Second who puts the information on the network? If it is each individual Police Department then there would be a record you could look directly at to see if she was ever listed. I am not asking for the combination to Fort Knox. I simply want to know if this child is safe or lost in the system.
Since you suggested calling the Police Chief in Detroit is there a 1-800 number? The memeber from our board in Michigan does not have long distance. Since you are in Michigan it would be so much easier and more productive if you contacted her and asked about this child.
Lastly how can I get a form for the freedom of information request for your office. Is there a number I can call or just downlaod online. I have not requested anything difficult here. I have repeatly asked about the safety and well being of a missing 14 year old girl named Jessita Hagan. But have been given run around after run around. As you see we do not just say ok game over. I would appreciate a timely reply since this child was reported missing November 3, 2005, over 34 days ago.
Thank you again,
Themis

Dear Sgt Jones,
I realised we hadn't cc out last few emails to Mr. Hart. I had sent them to him but as attachments. I know many agencies do not open attachments due to virus fears so I am sending them to him now through this reply.
Thank you and I look forward to your reply,
