Human Remains Found Near Florida Campus Area Where Bones Found May Be Homeless Camp POSTED: 11:41 am EDT April 17, 2007 UPDATED: 12:07 pm EDT April 17, 2007 JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The human remains found near Florida Community College in Jacksonville early Tuesday morning are with the medical examiner. Officials said that a person walking in the woods near the Beach Boulevard campus after midnight discovered the bones and called police. Police said the area where the bones were found may be a homeless camp. The medical examiner will try to identify the remains and determine how the person may have died.
