Human skull found in Austin Highway lot Web Posted: 10/05/2007 10:33 PM CDT Express-News A human skull was discovered Thursday evening in an empty lot in the 1400 block of Austin Highway, according to the San Antonio Police Department. A man riding a scooter pulled into the lot to cool off in the shade and have a beer when he spotted the remains, a police report said. The skull was transported by ambulance to the Bexar County medical examiner's office. Officers brought out cadaver dogs to see if any other remains were on the property but were forced to quit their search because of darkness.
