Very Interesting. I saw this on "Awearness for the Missing" Blog. "Could Virginia Rambus be the Auburn Washington Jane Doe? Virginia Rambus has been missing since May 20, 1985. The Auburn Washington Jane doe was found on December 30, 1985. Looking at both pictures, i think they are the same person. Their heights and measurements are about the same. Virginia disappeared from Seatle, Washington and Jane Doe was found in Auburn, Washington. Foul play is suspected in Virginia's disapearance. Virginia was last seen leaving her apartment to attend a party at approximately 7:00 PM on May 20, 1985. FOUL PLAY SUSPECTED. http://missingkids.com/missingkids/servlet/PubCaseSearchServlet?act=viewChildDetail&caseNum=997241&orgPrefix=NCMB&seqNum=1&caseLang=en_US&searchLang=en_US On December 30, 1985, the remains of this deceased female were found near the Mountain View Cemetery in Auburn, King County, Washington. The decedent was estimated to be between 18 and 28 years of age. She was between 5’-01” and 5’04” tall, and was estimated to weigh between 120 and 140 pounds. Her hair and eye color are unknown. She may have been deceased for 1-3 years prior to the discovery of her remains. The image at left is a composite to show what the decedent may have looked like in life. Some elements, such as hair style, are the artist’s estimations to complete the image and should not be used as significant markers for identification. If you have any information about the identity of this woman, please contact the NCMEC hotline or the King County Sheriff’s Office. Reference King County Sheriff’s Office case number 85-260579. http://missingkids.com/missingkids/servlet/PubCaseSearchServlet?act=viewChildDetail&caseNum=U10112&orgPrefix=NCMU&seqNum=1&caseLang=en_US&searchLang=en_US Please if you have any information please contact authorities, or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children @ 1-800-the-lost" When you look at both pictures it does seem like they could be a match. What do you think? Yes, there is a facial resemblance. Wonder if DNA testing is a possibility.
