The Doe Network: Case File 27UFGA Reconstructed Images of Victim Unidentified White / Biracial Female Discovered on March 20, 1988 in Oglethorpe County, Georgia The victim died sometime during the spring of 1987 Cause of death is unknown due to skeletal remains; evidence strongly points to homicide -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Vital Statistics Estimated age: 30 - 35 years old. Birth Range: 1953 - 1958. Approximate Height and Weight: 5'4 - 5'6"; 130 - 135 lbs. Distinguishing Characteristics: Dark, shoulder-length hair. May be biracial. She had suffered a broken nose earlier in her life; also, she had five broken ribs and a broken right shin bone. The injuries she sustained were healing and were possibly from 3-6 months prior to her death. They may be from car/motorcycle injuries or may be from an abuse situation. Dentals: She had buck teeth. She was also missing two teeth prior to her death, laterial incisors 23 & 26. Clothing: She was wearing pin-striped Jordache jeans, size ten; a faded, light-colored t-shirt; and Nike shoes, size six. A long cotton dress with green, white and red pinstripes was also discovered in the gym bag with the victim. DNA: Available. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Case History The victim was located along County Road 190 near State Highway 77, 15 miles east of Athens in Oglethorpe County, GA. Her skeletal remains were discovered in a large dark blue canvas gym bag.
