Body Found In East Alabama Pond POSTED: 7:03 pm CDT April 7, 2006 UPDATED: 8:43 pm CDT April 7, 2006 Authorities are questioning a person of interest in connection with a possible homicide in East Alabama. A woman's body was found floating in a farm pond off County Road 941 around 7 p.m. Thursday. Investigators were on the scene all night Thursday and all morning Friday. They were trying to gather evidence before thunderstorms that were expected on Friday washed it away. Authorities have impounded a brown pickup truck with a Cherokee County license plate.
