Jaramee Clarence Coleman-- 1993Jaramee Clarence Coleman
Jamaree was just 2 months old when his mother, Cheryl Lewrisey Coleman, took him to visit her brother in Brunswick, Georgia on July 24, 1993. Cheryl took Jamaree and began walking home from her brother's house in the early hours of the morning, and never made it. Later that day, her naked and mutilated body was found in Academy Creek, several blocks from her brother's home. She had been murdered and Jamaree was missing.
Carl Harris later pleaded guilty to killing both Cheryl and Jamaree. He said after murdering the baby's mother, he left Jamaree at the edge of Academy Creek. It is believed that he was swept away by the water. Jamaree's body has never been found.
