Sex Offender Pleads Guilty to New Charge Boone, June 26, 2006 - A Boone man is facing up to 25 years in prison after admitting to sexually abusing a 10-year-old girl earlier this year. On Monday, Jay Cavazos, 44, pleaded guilty to second degree sexual abuse. Cavazos was already on the state's sex offender registry when this current crime happend.
