STATE POLICE SEARCHING FOR DRIVER IN ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION
On April 20, 2009, at 8:57 p.m., Connecticut State Police responded to a motor vehicle accident on I-91 northbound in Enfield near Exit 48. The operator of the vehicle involved could not be located. Troopers searched the area of the crash for the driver without success.
On Tuesday, April 21, the operator could still not be located. Family was in contact with Connecticut State Police and advised that they had not heard from the missing operator and had filed a missing person compliant with the Ticonderoga Police.
On Wednesday, April 22, K-9 teams searched the area of the crash and into the surrounding area. Personal effects were located that did belong to the missing driver.
Today, April 23, additional K-9 teams and Trooper One, the State Police helicopter, were deployed to the crash area to expand the search for the missing subject.
The missing driver is identified as JODY KING, DOB: 11/14/80. KING is a white male, 5’5”, 160 pounds with brown hair. He was last seen wearing a green, long-sleeved shirt and a black hat.
