Vital Statistics at Time of Disappearance Missing Since: December 4, 1985 from Hot Springs, Arkansas Classification: Endangered Missing Date of Birth: October 12, 1969 Age: 15 years old Height and Weight: 5'3, 110 - 120 pounds Distinguishing Characteristics: African-American female. Brown hair, brown eyes. Smith may use the name Jeffrey Lynn Smith and some agencies refer to her by that name. Her ears are pierced and she has a mole on the right side of her chin. Clothing/Jewelry Description: A brown jacket, pink pants and brown shoes. Details of Disappearance Smith was last seen walking home from school in Hot Springs, Arkansas on December 4, 1985. She never arrived at home and has never been heard from again. Smith's boyfriend had allegedly been abusive towards her and she wanted to end their relationship prior to her disappearance. After she vanished, he pawned a piece of her jewelry. The police were aware of his actions but did not consider him a suspect in her disappearance. He was later charged in an unrelated assault against another person. Smith was originally thought to be a runaway but now other theories are being considered in her disappearance. Her case is unsolved.
