A serious sex offender told police he was moving to Brooklyn Park, but now he is missing and is wanted by police.
Michael Sean Worth is a Level-3 sex offender who said he was moving in with a friend near Fair Oaks Elementary School in the northwest suburb.
The only thing is, Worth never showed up in Brooklyn Park. Now, police have cancelled a notification meeting for neighbors and say Worth has broken the law by not moving into the city.
"We never heard from him and the party never showed up at his house," said Capt. Greg Roehl, of the Brooklyn Park Police Department."...His whereabouts are unknown."
Police say they'll seek charges against Worth, since sex offenders must notify them of their address.
Anyone with any information on Worth's whereabouts is encouraged to call police.
