Hi Everyone! I was sent this site from a message group I belong to on yahoo, I'm very glad to be a part of this group. There needs to be some serious awareness brought about here. I live in a rural part of North Carolina, parents are very lax with their children here. as nice a place as it is, it can still happen here. I'm not even sure if North Carolina has an Amber Alert system in place, I've not seen one since I've been here. It scares me to think people think it can't happen here(that seems to be the opinion of the locals) and since I am a recent transplant from Phoenix , I have been told to relax, things are different here. *I* won't take that chance! I would like some ideas to help raise community awareness. any imput is appreciated
