Newborn Baby on Life Support, Father Arrested, NY
Newborn Baby on Life Support Syracuse Police say an 18 year old father put his baby in critical condition. One month old Christiona Shelley is on life support at University Hospital as of Friday night. Police say her father, Christopher Shelley, beat her when she wouldn't stop crying. The baby's mother, Stephanie Woods, and other family memers held a vigil outside the hopsital Friday night. The family isn't holding out much hope for the little girl. Christiona's grandmother says half her brain is damaged. Beaten Baby Upgraded to Serious Condition Five week old Christiona Shelley has been upgraded to serious condition.
