Ohio not just confused about gambling issue
State of Confusion By: L. Wilson #6025 DOT (Decendant of Ohio Tribes) If I were to sum my birth state up I would have to say,"I come from the state of indecision making for its people and mine; Im from Ohio." My people have all but gone else where. And yet this Indian still is waiting for them too come home from what the whites delegate as our land we should call home. Ohio is stuck on the issue of what is Gambling and what is not. They know to legalize it means they to must give us the red skinned what is ours. And as history has shown they don't like to keep a treaty let alone give us monies. Then theres the man that preys like the bird in the skies do on death; only it is our Innocence he slithers to take from our children. They say and sign those treaties we consider today as ordinances into or what is thought of as Law. Leaving us with false belief they'll hold to them. The man who preys on two legs can walk in and take your child. He can and will get a sentence; but the one he sentenced will also pay an ultimate price for Survival to never be rid of what he left imprinted in their untouched minds. Yes I come from the land of plenty. Plenty of excuses for letting things fail, plenty of reasons why, and how. The land of plenty for visitors will be to see today like others that have passed that there is nothing sacred we won't surpass; including our children here in the land of Ohio. Footnote:Trust is nearly gone for who is right and what is wrong. Its up to us on how plentiful we will be or become. How much we will survive from. And yes it will be you and me together who accomplish the changes we are in deed much need of for our childrens safety without that treaty if need be!
