According to the Maine Coalition to End Domestic Violence, more than half of America's teens say they have a friend who has experienced dating violence. The coalition is hoping to educate the public about this troubling issue through the student poster contest. Students across the state are being asked to come up with a poster that will educate others about the issue of teen dating violence. The winning entry will be posted in schools, libraries, and government buildings across the state. The deadline is May 1st.
