Parents Of Wandering Child Have Been Found
Child is now in DCF custody
(CBS4 News) NORTH MIAMI The parents of a two year old child, who was found all alone at a South Florida gas station on Sunday afternoon have been found.
Exact details of who they are and how they became separated from their child have not been released yet.
The child was taken into the custody of the Department of Children and Families after being found wandering near a Hess Station on 135th Street and West Dixie Highway in North Miami.
It’s not known yet if the child wandered away or was abandoned. As of Sunday afternoon, police said no one had filed a report for a missing child. However, police now say the parens have been found and that no charges will be filed.
