Unit Targets Child Pornography And Internet Pedophiles POSTED: 1:07 pm EST November 24, 2006 Dozens of men have been apprehended by a state unit that targets child pornography and Internet pedophiles. The goal of Florida Attorney General's Child Predator CyberCrime Unit is to arrest people who travel to have sex with minors and those who buy, sell and trade child pornography over the Internet. Attorney General Charlie Crist, who has been elected Florida governor, says he would like to see the unit grow from a staff of nine to about 52 and open additional offices in Orlando, Tampa, Fort Lauderdale, Tallahassee, Fort Myers and Pensacola. The CyberCrime Unit has been operating for about a year in a downtown Jacksonville office building. It has a rogue's gallery on the wall of its office of the men they have arrested. They include a Navy commander, an attorney, a National Guard recruiter, a police detective, a karate instructor, a restaurant manager and a software engineer. http://www.wftv.com/news/10391191/detail.html
