Mother Accused of Killing 2-Year-Old Headed To Trial 8 minutes ago A mother accused of suffocating her 2-year-old daughter and stuffing her body in a closet is headed to trial. Police said Rhonda Watts admitted to killing Bryonna Watts by placing a plastic bag over the child's head. The defense argued that Watts only confessed, because she was interrogated for hours. "They kept her in a room for seven hours until they got what they wanted," said Watts' lawyer James Sheet. Police said Watts initially called police to report her daughter missing. Officers said when they searched the home, they found Bryonna in a box inside a basement closet with the bag still over her head. On Friday, Watts' family gathered for her preliminary hearing.
