AZ Most Wanted: Sex Offender on the Run Updated: Saturday, 08 Aug 2009, 10:34 PM MDT Published : Saturday, 08 Aug 2009, 10:03 PM MDT PHOENIX - He preys on young girls, and now, U.S. Marshals are searching for one of Arizona's most wanted. FOX 10 news cameras went along for the search. Authorities say 35-year-old Roberto Bucholz was romantically involved with a 17-year-old girl. He's a convicted sex offender. The victim's mother found out about her daughter's relationship with the suspect several weeks ago. She filed a police report and got an entire team of U.S. Marshals. He served 13 years in prison for the 1995 sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl. When he was released, he was required to wear a GPS anklet at all times. Bucholz cut off his GPS anklet and has been on the run for the past two weeks.
