last updated at 2/23/2009 4:49:14 PM Police searching for missing man A silver alert has been issued for Sheldon Fleitman, 77 of Venice, who has not been seen since 2:30 p.m. Monday and is considered to be missing, the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office said. Fleitman is 5-foot-10, has gray hair, a gray mustache, hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a light gray baseball hat, a blue and white plaid flannel shirt and black jeans. He was last seen leaving his house on Batello Drive, Venice, in a gray four-door Toyota Camry with the tag K91 6QA, Venice police said. He suffers from Alzheimer’s disease.
