A Jacksonville promotions company plans to sell a doll as a tribute to slain toddler Caylee Marie Anthony.
The Inspirational Caylee Sunshine Doll will go on sale Tuesday for $29.99.
The blonde-haired, 18-inch doll wears jeans and a T-shirt depicting a sun and the phrase: "CAYLEE SUNSHINE." The song "You Are My Sunshine" plays when her belly button is pushed.
Jaime Salcedo, president of Showbiz Promotions, said he is not selling a doll that looks exactly like Caylee because it would be too morbid and difficult for the public.
Instead, he said, they want to honor and respect Caylee's life by bringing awareness to her case.
"We want it to be a tribute," he said.
Salcedo said this is the first product his promotions company will sell that is inspired by the victim of a crime.
Salcedo said he plans to donate a portion of the proceeds to charity -- though he does not have an organization lined up yet.
Salcedo said he's waiting to hear back from several organizations, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. He is considering donating $3 for every doll sold.
Asked about whether it's appropriate for his company profit on Caylee's death, Salcedo said he is anticipating critics.
"I think that that is going to come up," he said.
Salcedo said the public does not understand what it costs to make the doll, ship it, import it, and his company's expenses.

Three Anthony voodoo dolls made by a New Orleans artist were on sale with bids starting at $19.99 and $29.99, respectively. But by Tuesday evening, the top bid on one of those dolls had jumped to $61. That doll is accompanied by handcuffs, a Bible and white sunglasses, according to the description.
The Orlando Sentinel contacted the seller, who said via e-mail that the artist would not comment. Sandra Lee said the artist wanted to remain anonymous and that they are close friends who met at a spiritual-healing internship. They practice healing medicine in the Boston area through dolls and dream catchers.
Lee said they visited the Anthony family home in late November.
"We visit a location whenever we create a spiritual artifact. This enables us to practice the art of creating the spell," she said. "Without trespassing, of course, we captured what we needed in order to do our job."

Conway said he hopes to know by Thursday, where and when the Anthonys will hold a public memorial service for Caylee.
Several motions were recently filed in the criminal case against Casey Anthony, who faces numerous charges including first-degree murder. Defense attorney Jos? Baez filed an objection to a judge's earlier order stating she needed to attend future court proceedings.
Baez stated that requiring Anthony's presence at pre-trial hearings "only fuels the circus-like atmosphere which paints the Defendant in a negative light." He stated that following court appearances, "the media have focused on the appearance of the Defendant and have generated unsubstantiated rumors regarding the Defendant's physical condition further lessening the integrity of the process."
Baez filed another motion asking for a bevy of detailed information, ranging from investigators' notes, photos and "memorialization of telephone conversations" to documents involving the Orange County medical examiner.
A member of the Anthonys' defense team filed a motion late Tuesday asking the court to remove the prosecutors because of alleged leaks to the media and other suspected improprieties.
