PALMER PARK, Md. - Prince George's County police are investigating the death of a man whose skeletal remains were found in a wooded area on East Forest Road on Friday. The medical examiner confirmed the remains were human and ruled the death a homicide, police said.
The man, of an unknown age, appears to have died from gunshot wounds, police said.
Police said maintenance workers discovered the remains when they were working in the area.
Investigators are trying to identify the victim and develop information about a motive and suspect.
