PORTLAND (NEWS CENTER)--USM officials are warning its students about a man with multiple indecent conduct convictions.
Portland police say Steven Ricci is expected to be released Monday as part of a plea agreement for an attempted sex abuse of a minor charge.
They say Ricci describes himself as dangerous to women, and that he plans on abusing again.
Ricci drives a 1995 red Chevy pickup truck with a black steel rack on the back.
police say they're aware that Ricci poses a threat to the community and that they'll take steps to monitor his activity.
USM is warning its students to be on alert.
Police say he has a home on brighton avenue -- close to usm.
