Studies done by the U.S. Department of Justice
Bureau of Justice Satistics Report the following information: * Convicted rape and sexual assault offenders serving time in State Prisons report, that two thirds of their victims, were under the age of 18, and 58% of those or nearly four in ten imprisoned violent sex offenders--said their victims were aged 12 or younger. * In 90 % of the rapes of children less than 12 years-old, the child knew the offender, according to police-record incident data. * Offenders who served time for sexual assault were 7.5 times as likely as those convicted of other crimes to be rearrested for a new sexual assault. * For 85 % of those sex offenders who were arrested for another sex crime, the arrest occured in the same state that released them. I felt I had to post this for others to know, its no secret to congress, legislation, or anyone else but the pedophile's victims that won't be seeing this. This came from a March 2006, statement that was made by Petros guy James V. Canepa He made this statement Wendsday the 22nd to Chairman Jordan and Members of the Committee. And still we don't have Senate Bill 260!!!!!!!!!!!
