Suspects Flee From Police, Break Into Apartment, Then Fall Asleep Posted: 8/24/2006 6:50:29 AM Metro police arrested the men early Thursday morning inside the apartment following a bizarre chase with an incredibly strange ending. Officer said they tried to pull the men over for driving a stolen car, but rather than stopping, the suspects led police on a chase through East Nashville. The men eventually stopped the car and ran off on McGavock Pike. That’s when police said the two broke into a nearby apartment, told the owner to be quiet and not to worry, and promptly fell asleep. The apartment owner called police, and the men were arrested without incident. The suspects are now facing several charges, including kidnapping. http://www.newschannel5.com/content/news/21572.asp
