Posted on Mon, Feb. 12, 2007 Police: Single mom was slain MELISSA MANWARE mmanware@charlotteobserver.com Police this morning said a single mother found dead in her Grier Heights apartment Friday had been slain. Detectives have not made an arrest in the killing of 21-year-old Tasia Lynette Boler. They ask anyone with information about her death to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600. After Boler didn't show up for work at Jersey Mike's sandwich shop, a coworker found her dead in the bathroom of her apartment on Friday afternoon. Boler's three-year-old daughter was alone in the apartment with the body. Boler grew up in Charlotte and had lived alone with her daughter in the Vantage 78 apartments for about two years, family members said. They last heard from her about 9:30 p.m. Thursday.
