The Reason We are Here
We realized with Jessie's Birthday coming we didn't have an area for it. She isn't more important than any other child kidnapped/murdered. But she is the reason we started this quest. I was the Administrator for the Official site and Gaia was a Moderator. It was because of Jessie that we are here and fighting for change. She is special to us for this. She opened our eyes and minds and made us want to make changes for all children. For that I thank her. Jessica

As many of you know I worked very closely with the family. I talk about Jessie but only to a certain degree. It isn’t about any agreements or promises, it is because I just can’t. I knew this day was coming and, like in the past with all news in her case, I prepared myself. Guess what, it didn’t work. I am sitting here in tears trying to write this. I can’t say Happy Birthday. Because of Couey she will never have a happy anything. Gaia asked we put this section up and I agreed because she is one of the main catalysts behind our site. But I’m sorry everyone I can’t celebrate with you. I wasn’t touched by Jessie more than anyone else. And I will never claim to have been. But this is ripping my heart out. I’m surprised how emotional I am about this but I’m being honest. Still feel free to post here maybe it can help you with your feelings. But I just can’t.
