This law in Ohio nedds changed . . . .
I believe in opposite sex marriage
don't get me wrong.
I believe in voicing for the children.
So where do I draw the line at what
age they are no longer children on Ohio?
I say birth to 18 the child is a child.
I alwasy believed that the law said
the same thing.
And then wham I found it to be a false
belief.
A false belief because Ohio does not
look at our children in teen years as
a child any longer.
They prove they can have two faces
to the law on the issue of sexual
conduct by marriage.
At 16 a female in Ohio is considered
marriage age and sexual age.
Although the laws have changed someone
in the law making section forgot to tell
OHIO that 16 gets you prison time even
if the books say opposite.
Now Im not trying to build a case for pedopilla
of the pedophile at all. Nor am I trying to at all
give them evidence as to why they should not
be in jail.
But what I am trying to do is get the OSBA to
see that they have left a double standard open
that could lead to more problems for OHIO.
OSBA state clearly Male persons 18 years of age
and female persons of 16 years of age, not near
of kin than second cousins and not having a husband
or wife, may be joined in marriage.
Thua leaving a door open saying that 16 is okay to
mess around with in Ohio.
However another law says that one day before
your 18th Birthday it is against the law to encounter
sex with another in Ohio.
So where does one draw the line?
I say the need to recatagorize the laws on the books
for OHIOs Children where this issue of concern lays.
I say they need to get rid of old laws on the books
that have been replaced by new laws each time one
is placed into effect for Ohio.
Rather than leave them on the books and open as an
Active LAW.
When reality shows Ohios just in one big double
jeopardy mess with the old and new LAWS that
now are collecting dust.
