After seven years police said they still have no hot leads in the case of a missing Columbus teenager.
Now investigators hope someone who knows something about his disappearance will come forward, NBC 4's Elizabeth Scarborough reported.
Ronda Henley can barely look at photos of her grandson Trevell in her photo album without getting choked up.
"This is all I got ? just pictures," she said. "Everyday, seeing kids come home from school, everything reminds me of him."
According to police, Trevell was last seen walking down a street in the Linden area on July 2, 1999.
Henley said she remembers saying goodbye to her grandson before leaving for work.
"I got off at like 4 p.m.," she said. "I came home, no Trevell. The next morning I called police and told them what happened."
Columbus police Det. James McCoskey is the lead investigator in the case. He said he searched the neighborhood but found nothing. Not a trace of Trevell.
"It's frustrating," McCroskey said. "We have some leads. People still call every once in a while and we follow up on them. I think more than one person knows."
Henley agreed that someone knows what happened to her grandson, and she wants them to know one thing.
"Whether it's his body; whether it's bones or whatever -- I want my grandson back," she said.
Anyone with any information about the case is asked to call Columbus Homicide at 614-645-4730, or Crime Stoppers at 614-654-TIPS.
