BALTIMORE -- Baltimore County police are searching for a convicted child sex offender who failed to register with the state.
Police are looking for Jason Carroll Forbes, 32, who was convicted in 1999 of second-degree rape of a child and has currently failed to register with Maryland's sex offender registry.
Police said Forbes is white, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and about 180 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. His last known address was on Seawall Road in Essex, and he is believed to frequent the eastern areas of Baltimore County.
Police said he may be in the company of a white woman who is about 20 years old, 5 feet 2 inches tall with dark hair and a medium build.
